UCLA Foreign Engagement Obligations and Requirements

On April 10, 2024, Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost Darnell Hunt and Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities Roger M. Wakimoto, jointly announced UCLA’s continued support for scholarly exchanges and collaborative research with foreign institutions, while noting concerns about foreign influence and research security. To support UCLA's research community and international collaborations, ORCA is creating a campus research security program in response.
