Announcing the UCLA-MSU Historically Black Colleges & Universities Initiative

On October 18, 2024, Vice Chancellor for Research & Creative Activities Roger Wakimoto, announced UCLA’s partnership with Morgan State University (MSU). MSU is a Historically Black College/University (HBCU) in Baltimore, Maryland. The goal of this collaboration is to strengthen its research exchange and mentorship opportunities across both institutions.

If you are interested in learning more about this partnership, the HBCU Task Force Committee is hosting a UCLA-MSU Information Forum. This event will take place on Thursday, Nov. 21. 2024.  [Update: The UCLA-MSU Information Forum, will take place on Thursday, January 30, 2025  from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. at Luskin Conference Center.
