On July 20, 2022, Vice Chancellor for Research and Creative Activities Roger M. Wakimoto announced that UCLA Policy 992: Use of Biohazardous Materials and Recombinant or Synthetic Nucleic Acid Molecules in Research and Teaching Activities had been revised. The policy is now published on UCLA's Administrative Policies & Procedures website.
